NSSC 2010 Review

Building on the success of the National Social Services Conference in Wales 2009, ADSS Cymru and the WLGA hosted the National Social Services Conference 2010 on July 1st and 2nd, at Llandudno.

The 2010 conference, entitled 'Transforming Services in Challenging Times' focused on the political and professional interface linked to social services, and the vision for adult social care, children's services, and partnership working to help improve services for individual service users, their families, carers and their communities.

This event was aimed at directors of social services, Welsh Assembly Members, Welsh Assembly Government officers, council members, heads of service, and representatives from the independent, voluntary, community and private sectors. The conference provided opportunities for engaging debate and innovative learning, as well as excellent networking and social events.
