Workshop / Fringe Events

The theme of the 2009 National Social Services Conference was 'delivering the change....a shared responsibility' and focused on the vision for adult social care, children's services, and partnership working, to help improve services for individual service users, their families, carers and their communities.

The exciting programme of workshops at this year's conference gave delegates an opportunity to examine in more depth relevant social care policy issues. These sessions were learning events based on an exchange of knowledge and practice, and were interactive in nature.

We also had a dynamic line up of fringe events at this year's conference which provided training, learning and information giving opportunities and supported professional and personal development.
