National Social Services Conference 2011, June 21st - 22nd 2011, Millennium Stadium, Cardiff

ADSS Cymru and the WLGA are pleased to host the National Social Services Conference 2011.

The National Social Services Conference 2011 is a high level, annual conference for the social care sector in Wales. It has come to be highly regarded and attracts Welsh Ministerial presence.

Following resounding success in 2010, the 2011 conference will continue to focus on the political and professional interface linked to social services, and realising the vision for adult and children's services working in partnership with key agencies to help improve services for individual users, their families, their carers and their communities.

This event will attract an audience of approximately 300 high level attendees including Directors & Senior Managers of Local Authority Social Services, Welsh Assembly Members, Welsh Assembly Government Civil Servants, Elected Council Members, and representatives from the voluntary, independent, health and education sectors. The conference will provide opportunities for engaging debate and innovative learning, as well as excellent networking and social events.

As partners, we are committed to making this event a high class conference, relevant to all those involved in the social care sector. We will ensure the conference and its plenary, workshop and exhibition events reflect the fullest possible range of interests brought by delegates from an equally wide range of backgrounds.
